I have to admit for the price of their steam dumplings it's really good! I know most people come here for the noodle with peanut sauce but I wanted to try something different! I ordered the egg noodle with meat instead. Service was fast and ambiance was similar to any take out place. It's one of those places where you just get your food, eat and get out. I really enjoyed their pork and chive steam dumplings and would recommend it over the noodle with peanut sauce which is also amazing.

The pork and chive dumplings were where it's at. For $4.50, you can get a large plate of boiled pork and chive dumplings here. I think I counted 12 dumplings, which is such a great deal. The dumpling wrapper was everything. Nice and translucent thin, with a great texture and mouthfeel. The pork and chive filling, however, was kind of mild for my taste, but overall it was still pretty good. We also ordered their wheat noodles with peanut sauce. But, the peanut sauce didn't have as much peanut flavor as I'd like.

It is cash only here. So, be aware. One other thing is I think they diluted all of their sauces. I would say bring your own hot sauce. I think we brought our Tabasco Scorpion hot sauce to eat with our dumplings here. Yummy.

I stopped by this classic restaurant in New York City's Chinatown. I walked in here in the afternoon, ordered a small portion of pork and chive dumplings, a small portion of chicken and chive dumplings, wheat noodles with peanut butter, wonton soup and soon got all my food.

Chinatown hole in the wall where you can still get a meal for a grand total of 5 American dollars. Busy but also fast turnover. I ordered half the menu and liked most items except for the beef broth stuff which smell way too strong and cow-ey for my taste.

cheap and delicious. say its to-go incase you can't find a place to sit and don't be afraid to share a table with strangers. also, bring cash! there's an atm outside but you don't want to rely on it because the night I went, it wasn't working.

Really solid spot in Chinatown for no frills, hot noodle soup. The line is always long but the food comes out quickly. Remember to bring cash!

I've seen so many reviews about this place - came to try it and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was crowded with people dining in as well as people in line waiting to place an order at the counter, or to pick up to-go orders on a Saturday night. All these dishes we got cost only $19.5, and the food was very authentic! My favorite were the pork and cabbage dumplings, and the fish ball soup. The 2 of us were really full and even had leftovers to take home. Great value for the delicious food!

It's super cheap and delicious here! Was able to try the peanut noodles and the wonton soup. Would like to try the pork dumplings as well. The peanut noodles were juicy and savory. The soup was very light! I wish the wontons were bigger and with more meat, but I would try it again!

Great price and quality food in Chinatown! Got the noodles and dumplings. This place is cash only and because of its popularity there can be a bit of a wait, but it's a good option for cheap food. The pork and chives dumplings were delicious, and we also enjoyed the peanut butter noodles.

These are very unique dumplings with their heavy garlic chive taste. Some of the dumpling shops in Chinatown kind of bleed together, but you'll KNOW blindfolded that you're eating a Shu Jiao Fu Zhou dumpling because of those chives.

Like the other shops, this place is cheap - I don't think I spent more than $5 on a box of dumplings that took them 0.5 seconds to package up and hand to me. Invaluable when you're just over all the production involved in eating out, and just want to grab food and go home with it.

I was stupid and totally missed that they put a sauce container in my takeout bag, and so I ate them dry. They were good even then, but my last dumpling, eaten once I'd found the sauce container, was much better, so please learn from my mistakes!
